Important: ONELIX is a purely educational statistical analysis tool. It does not constitute investment advice under AMF/MiFID II regulations.

Article 1 — Purpose

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the ONELIX service, a statistical financial market analysis platform available at onelix.io.

Using the service implies full acceptance of these Terms. If you do not accept them, you must stop using the service.

Article 2 — Description of the service

ONELIX is an educational statistical analysis tool offering:

  • Visualization of historical macroeconomic indicators (Buffett Indicator, PE10/CAPE, Yield Curve, VIX, etc.).
  • A composite score called LIX (Lucid Index), representing a historical statistical risk level on a 0 to 100 scale.
  • Historical analysis of market downturn periods.
  • A backtesting simulator allowing users to test hypotheses on historical data.
  • Informational alerts based on statistical thresholds defined by the user (Premium plan).

ONELIX does not provide investment advice, buy or sell recommendations, or financial market forecasts.

Article 3 — Financial disclaimer

In accordance with the principles of the French Financial Markets Authority (AMF) and European MiFID II regulation:

  • Information presented on ONELIX is purely statistical and educational.
  • It does not constitute personalized investment advice.
  • It does not constitute an incentive to trade financial instruments.
  • Past performance does not predict future performance.
  • All investments involve a risk of capital loss.

The user is solely responsible for investment decisions. Users should consult a qualified financial adviser before making financial decisions.

Article 4 — Access and accounts

4.1 Registration

Access to certain features requires creating a user account. The user undertakes to provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Only one account per person is authorized.

4.2 Account security

The user is responsible for the confidentiality of login credentials. Any use of the service through the account is deemed to be made by the user. In case of compromise, the user must immediately notify the publisher.

4.3 Email verification

Account creation requires email verification. The account remains inactive until verification is completed.

Article 5 — Plans, pricing and payment

5.1 Available plans

ONELIX offers several access levels, as presented on the pricing page:

  • Free plan: discovery access, no credit card required, including the dashboard with N-1 data, available charts, partial indicator analysis, historical crash analysis, and access to the backtest simulator on all available indicators, limited to historical data dated no later than 31 December 2005.
  • BeLucid BASIC: access to the latest data, complete statistical analysis for BASIC indicators, return and drawdown interpolation, and full backtesting of BASIC indicators over the available history; backtesting of premium indicators remains limited to historical data dated no later than 31 December 2005, within the limits specified on the pricing page.
  • BeLucid PREMIUM: extended access including all BASIC features, statistical analysis for all indicators, return and drawdown interpolation, user-defined personalized email alerts, and backtesting for all indicators.

The up-to-date details of included features, available plans, commitment periods and applicable prices are stated on the pricing page at the time of subscription.

5.2 Commitment period and payment

Each paid subscription involves a firm commitment for the duration selected by the user at subscription: 1 year, 2 years or 3 years.

Payment is made upfront at the time of subscription for the full selected duration. Prices may be displayed as a monthly equivalent for readability, but this display does not constitute monthly payment.

Paid access is opened immediately after payment validation, subject to effective confirmation of the transaction by the payment provider.

5.3 Automatic renewal and cancellation of renewal

Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the due date, for a new period identical to the initial period, unless the user cancels automatic renewal before the due date.

The user may disable automatic renewal at any time from the profile area or, failing that, by contacting the publisher. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid subscription period: the user keeps access to paid features until that date.

Before each due date leading to automatic renewal, the publisher sends one or more email notifications to the address associated with the user's account. These notifications notably remind the subscribed plan, renewal duration, scheduled renewal date, applicable amount, and the possibility to disable automatic renewal before the due date.

For consumer users subject to French law, this information is sent within the time limits provided by Article L. 215-1 of the French Consumer Code where applicable, notably between three months and one month before the deadline for refusing renewal. The publisher may also send additional reminders close to the due date.

Renewal notifications are sent in the language selected by the user in the profile where available, or otherwise in French. The user remains responsible for maintaining a valid email address, checking messages, and ensuring ONELIX emails are not blocked or classified as spam.

Failure to effectively receive an email, when caused by an incorrect address, spam filtering, full mailbox or technical issue external to ONELIX, does not invalidate the renewal where the information was sent by the publisher in accordance with these Terms and applicable regulation.

5.4 No prorated refund

No prorated refund will be granted in case of early cancellation of automatic renewal. Cancellation only prevents renewal at the due date and does not affect the subscription period already paid.

Where the user requests immediate performance of the digital service before the end of the statutory withdrawal period and acknowledges losing the right of withdrawal under Article L. 221-28 of the French Consumer Code, no refund may be claimed for the period already started.

5.5 Account deletion during the commitment period

Deleting the account before the end of the current subscription period does not give rise to any prorated refund. Unless expressly requested by the user or required by law, access to the service is maintained until the end of the already paid period.

5.6 VAT

Prices displayed on the pricing page are in euros. VAT not applicable, Article 293 B of the French Tax Code (publisher under the French VAT exemption regime). Invoices are issued accordingly.

5.7 Payment provider

Payments and renewals are processed by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.). The publisher never has access to the user's full banking data. Invoices are generated and stored by Stripe and are accessible from the user's customer area.

5.8 Promotional codes

Promotional codes issued by the publisher may be subject to specific conditions. A promo code cannot be combined with any other offer unless expressly stated otherwise. The publisher reserves the right to disable a promo code at any time.

Article 6 — Alert service (Premium)

6.1 Nature of alerts

The alert service provides automatic notifications based on statistical thresholds defined in advance by the user. These alerts are purely informational and do not constitute buy or sell signals.

6.2 Technical characteristics

The user acknowledges and accepts the following:

  • Normalized indicator calculation: because of their standard deviation or percentile-rank calculation methods, past values of normalized indicators are not necessarily fixed and may change when a new monthly data point is added.
  • Delayed source data: some source data may be published with several days or weeks of delay. An alert may therefore be triggered late.
  • No investment advice: alerts created on ONELIX do not constitute investment advice from ONELIX. They are informational tools enabling users to implement their own monitoring strategy.
  • User responsibility: the user is solely responsible for investment decisions and for interpreting generated alerts.
  • Past performance: past performance does not predict future performance.

6.3 Limitation of liability

ONELIX shall not be liable for investment decisions made by the user based on generated alerts. Alerts are provided “as is” without guarantee of accuracy, completeness or relevance.

Article 8 — Cancellation

The user may cancel automatic renewal at any time from the profile area or, failing that, by contacting the publisher. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the already paid subscription period.

Cancellation of automatic renewal does not give rise to any prorated refund and does not interrupt access to paid features during the current period. At the due date, in the absence of renewal, the account switches back to the free plan.

Only an upgrade to a higher plan (for example BASIC to PREMIUM) is possible during the commitment period, via the profile area. The commitment end date remains unchanged in case of upgrade.

The publisher reserves the right to suspend or delete an account in case of breach of these Terms, without notice or refund.

Article 9 — Intellectual property

All elements of the service (source code, algorithms, methodologies, processed data, indicators, charts, analyses, texts, interface and visual presentations) are the exclusive property of the publisher or are used under rights held by the publisher.

The data, indicators, charts, scores, analyses and results provided by ONELIX are intended for personal, educational and non-commercial use, including personal market understanding, personal modelling or individual statistical monitoring.

Unless prior written authorization is granted by the publisher, users are prohibited from:

  • using ONELIX data, indicators, scores, charts or analyses for commercial purposes;
  • reselling, renting, licensing, mass-extracting, broadly redistributing or republishing ONELIX data, indicators, scores, charts or analyses;
  • reproducing or publishing charts, tables, information, models, analyses or pages that are substantially similar to those provided by ONELIX;
  • integrating ONELIX data or analyses into a service, product, database, newsletter, paid report, software tool or publication intended for third parties, where such integration exceeds occasional quotation or illustration.

Where ONELIX data, indicators or analyses are used occasionally to inform a model, image, chart or content published elsewhere, the user must clearly attribute the source: ONELIX — onelix.io, provided that such use remains limited, non-misleading and compliant with these Terms.

This limited permission does not grant any ownership right, commercial licence, redistribution right, or right to create a competing or substitutable service to ONELIX.

Article 10 — Limitation of liability

The publisher strives to ensure service availability 24/7 but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. The publisher disclaims liability for:

  • Financial losses resulting from use of the service information.
  • Service interruptions due to maintenance or force majeure.
  • Temporary inaccuracy of financial data.
  • Indirect damages of any kind.

Article 11 — Personal data

Personal data processing is described in our Privacy Policy, compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Article 12 — Language of the service and applicable version

ONELIX is a service operated by a French company. The Terms of Service are drafted in French, which is the contractual reference language.

The site may provide interfaces, pages, communications or translated versions of these Terms, including in English, to facilitate access for international users. These translations are provided for information only. In case of contradiction, interpretation difficulty or discrepancy between a translation and the French version, the French version shall prevail.

Users located outside France acknowledge that access to the service remains subject to these Terms, subject to any mandatory provisions applicable in their country of residence.

Article 13 — Changes to the Terms

The publisher reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be informed by email of material changes. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Article 14 — Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, and after an attempt at amicable resolution, French courts shall have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules where applicable.

For consumer disputes, the user may access European consumer redress information and tools at: consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu/index_en.
